INDIA, Kushan Empire. Huvishka, circa 151-190. Dinar (Gold, 21 mm, 7.86 g, 12 h), Gandhara, probably Peshawar. ÞAONANOÞAO OOηÞKI KOÞANO ('King of Kings, Huvishka the Kushan' in Batrian) Crowned and draped bust of Huvishka emerging from clouds or a mountain top to left with flames on his right shoulder, holding club in his right hand and hilt of sword in his left. Rev. MIÞO ('Miro' in Baktrian) Miiro standing front, diademed head to left, head surrounded by radiate halo, raising his right hand in blessing and placing his left on hilt of sword held by belt; to left, tamgha. ANS Kushan 755. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
